Marie-May Brown

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, November 22, 2008, Mrs. Marie-May "Mary" Brown of Saint-Andre passed away at the age of 71 years. Born at Matane, Quebec in 1937, she was a daughter of the late Eloi and Leona (St-Amand) Lizotte.

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy (Claudia) of Lansdowne and Clarence of Fredericton Junction, seven daughters, Tressa (Joe Daigle) of Midland, Suzanne Brown of Sussex, Joan Brown of Fredericton Junction, Madelaine Brown and Diane Brown of Saint-Andre, Linda (Mark Forgrave) of Sussex and Renee Brown of Prince Edward Island, 17 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, three sisters, Marguerite Lizotte of Montreal, Ida Carter of Fredericton Junction and Gertrude Lizotte of Montreal, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa, a granddaughter, Allysha and a brother, Remi Lizotte.

Her funeral was held Monday, November 24th at 4 p.m. from the Saint-Andre Roman Catholic Church, with Father Pierre Thibodeau officiating, assisted by Father Frederic Poitras. The pallbearers were Clarence Brown, Amanda Brown, Suzanne Brown, Quinton Brown, Linda Larouche and Rejean Cyr. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.

Arrangements were by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
