AN ANNOUNCEMENT After more than 50 years of service to Petitcodiac, Salisbury, Havelock, Elgin and the surrounding areas, the Armstrong family is leaving the funeral service “I am very pleased to advise the community that Terry Rogers has assumed the Managing Director’s role. Terry grew up in Salisbury and his wife Tina is from right here in Petitcodiac and I have every confidence that they will be very able custodians of the tradition of service that my father and grandfather established and that I have been proud to carry on. They know our community and our people and I’m happy to welcome them to the business and welcome them home.” A career funeral director with 18 years experience, Terry Rogers has worked in Moncton, Sussex and Truro, N.S. over the course of his career. Welcoming the opportunity to return home, he has purchased Armstrong’s Funeral Home in a partnership with another local funeral director and former colleague, Mitchell Long of Sussex. Terry and Mitchell are the owner-managers of a newly created firm which now owns both Armstrong's and Sussex Select Community Funeral Home. Mitchell is Managing Director of the Sussex location. The two will work together to provide the very best of care to families throughout the region.
